Self-Drilling Anchors are ground reinforcement systems designed for applications where conventional drilling and anchoring methods may be difficult to install.

How Self-Drilling Anchors Work

A Self-Drilling Anchor uses a hollow steel bar that acts both as a drilling rod and as the permanent reinforcement element.

The drill bit creates the borehole while the hollow bar remains installed in the ground. Grout can then be injected through the hollow bar, filling the space around the anchor and creating the bond between the reinforcement and the surrounding ground.

This drilling-and-anchoring principle can simplify installation in difficult geological conditions.
