Self Drilling Anchor

Anchoring system combining drilling and reinforcement in a single element for unstable, fractured or difficult ground conditions.

Self-Drilling Anchors for Unstable Ground and Geotechnical Applications

Self-Drilling Anchors combine drilling and anchoring into a single system, providing an efficient and reliable solution for ground conditions where conventional drilling can be challenging.

The system uses a hollow, threaded bar that functions simultaneously as the drilling element and the permanent anchoring component. Grout is injected through the hollow bar during drilling, helping to stabilise the borehole and form the final anchor.

Self-Drilling Anchors are particularly suitable for fractured, loose, or unstable ground, as well as for mining, tunnelling, and geotechnical stabilisation applications.
